INTERNATIONAL STUDY
International keyboardists have several options for training with Barbara Lister-Sink.
• Intensive Technique Training Week. These intensive training sessions are held several times a year, usually in June or July and in January, at Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC. A Visitor’s Visa is usually sufficient for traveling to North Carolina. • Study at Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC. International keyboardists, 23 and older, may enroll in the Injury-Preventive Keyboard Technique curricular program for full-time status (3 courses) through the Continuing Studies Division. (Younger students must enroll through the Salem College Office of Admissions.) With full-time status, and after following the appropriate protocols, most adult internationals can then travel to the US and live in Winston-Salem for a year or more on a Student Visa. A limited number of international keyboardists are able to study privately with Barbara Lister-Sink for short periods of time on a Visitor’s Visa. • Lodging, Transportation, etc. WINGSOUND International is creating a support network to assist international (and national) Continuing Studies students find reasonably priced lodging within walking distance of the Salem College campus, and to help acquire autos, furniture and other items necessary for living in Winston-Salem, NC.
